In-depth Scene Analysis

Shots and Movement

At first you see what he sees as he awakens. Then you start to get the bigger picture and this makes since this movie is actually suppost  to be a story being told by the main character Merlin many years later. Then it goes in close to there faces to try and get you to emote with the character. After that it dose this effect with the background to try and give you the feeling of the world narrowing. After that it try's so scare and amaze you. Then you see the world as the dragon sees it. Cutting back and forth to Merlin trying to get free and finally doing so not by braking his bound but moving what he is bound to. It goes on to show there desperation and thinking prose.  Along with the impact of the actions Merlin takes. Emotion takes president next this is with you seeing Merlin confusion on him not being able to stop the flames and you being in the flames and moving with them as they move to Nimue and engulf her. Finally with his feeling of sadness holding her before showing Mab saying vary good leting you know this was all her plan.

Editing style and Techniques

The editing is fairly fast passed never truly stopping but still giving you enough time to take in everything it wants you too. Some techniques I didn't mention in the earlier are the zooming out after he opens his eyes this is to try and get you more into his shows by making you see his vision expand. moving the camera with him o get you to more emote with Merlin and see the world as he sees it. When the dragon first breaths fire it lets you see the world in such a way that you cant see what it hit at first. After the dragon starts getting tied up some mud hits the camera if this is on purpose then it is to immerse you more in the scene.

Sound design

 At first all you hear is wind, birds chirping, and some music for drama. Then you hear someone talking then a roar. For the fire moving you hear a whooshing sound much like the air being seared by the flames. After that the music magnify and you hear people saying run for your lives. Fallowed by heard breathing and the moving of ropes. The next sound I can only describe as narrowing. Then after Nimue screams you hear the dragon as it moves, breaths expands its wings, roars and breaths fire again. You hear it moving more and Nimue screaming. Next you hear Merlin straining and groaning. fallowed by more of the dragon and Nimue. After she screams this time you hear Merlin scream and a hit with some more of the dragon breathing and roaring. Breathing fire and Nimue saying Merlin but at this point the music is so loud you can barley pick her voice out. she creams again and you hear the music reaching a high point fallowed by moving water. Then I guess the cricking of the wood as he moves his bindings and finally gets free. with some more of the dragon moving and running water along with Merlin's breathing. At this point the music suddenly stops and water moves loudly. The dragon screeches and then you hear it sinking. Fallowed by growing sounds then whipping. the dragon screeches again as this is going on. Before it ends with a bang as the dragon falls. But as the dragon frees its head the music comes back. It gets louder as Nimue screams but quiets as the fire moves. You hear Merlin say no then her scream his name  and he screams no. Fallowed by the dragon screech as it is fully caught and can't escape. its bounds of growing vines tighten and Merlin frees Nimue. You hear him stepping in the mud he made and him breathing. The horse moving is the next thing you hear. fallowed by Merlin talking as it starts to move away you hear the birds chirping again fallowed by the dragon whining. With it  ending on Mab whispering very good.

Lighting

The lighting is mostly consent only getting a little darker or brighter depending on where were looking  or if the dragon just breathed fire. It gets a little brighter as the dragon is folly reviled. The biggest change though is when we are to be see from the dragon's eyes the world gets a red tinge and becomes slightly warped.

Impact

This all try to get you into Merlin's shoes as he is put in a terrible situation with the women he loves. And though doing so is put into a test of his ability's . showing hes desperation, and thinking prose. His confusion on his failure. His sadness after he failed. And finally how everything went according to Mab's plan.

At Justen house

Friend and main are sitting on the couch

Main: Id sell my soul if it would fix all theses problems.

Friend: Whoa man watch what you say there you never know who may be lesioning.

Main: Your right, hey want some pizza.

Friend: Na i got to go you have a good day.

Main: Where you going.

Main: WHAT THE WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?

Demon: Did someone say they'd sell there soul?

Main: (starts laughing) Your a demon is this some kind of joke?

Demon: What you were expecting red skin and horns?

Main: um ahh...

Demon: You raciest mother... calm down, calm down (breaths deeply in then out) why do you humans always think that ill never understand your kind. now what was your wish?

Main: I don't know what your talking about i didn't make any wish (looks in one direction then the other)

Demon: They always lie. I believe it was something about fixing all problems. And don't lie to me again.

Main: (gulps then says scared) yea i wished all the problems like war, crime, hunger were all solved.

Demon: And for this it will cost your soul. If we have a deal take my hand.

Main: (slowly takes his hand and shakes it)

Demon: (smiles and despairs)

Main: That's it nothing happened. (turns around and is suddenly at school) Wait how did I get here? ill ask someone if anything happened. (starts to look around) where is everyone? maybe there in class ill look around some more. (after looking around a while  starts to look scared and starts to run slowly going faster looking from room to room eventually runs outside) WHERE IS EVERYONE!? DEMON WHAT DID YOU DO!?

Demon: (Reappears) Quit yelling. Its just a  holiday. Everyone's been dealt with.

Main: o ok that's a load off... Wait what do you mean dealt with? And since when is today a holiday?

Demon: (starts laughing) Since today's the day the world ended. Congratulations your the last man on earth.

Main: Why did you do that, I didn't wish for this.

Demon: you said to solve all the worlds problems. Well now there solved. Now about that soul (smiles)

Main: O no you don't (runs)

Demon: They always run when its time to pay. (snaps fingers)

Main: (Trips and falls and we see that there shoe lases are tied. Then tires to quickly untie them)

Demon: (walks towards them slowly. Arrives just as they fins hand stand up)

Main: (throws a punch)

Demon: (doges grabs arm) I Think your going to make a great demon.

Main: (suddenly wakes up in his house screaming. Door bell rings)

Delivery person: Pizza delivery.

Main: Be right there. (grabs wallet and goes to the door)

Delivery person: That will be one soul please.

Main: (screams and starts to run towards the camera)

Delivery person: o come on the price isnt that bad why do they always run when its time to pay (smiles)

Scene 1

(Outside Justen's house)

A friend comes over.

Friend: Hi. 

After talking for a little bit.

Main: If you could have one wish what would you wish for.

Friend: why do you ask?

Main: Because I know what I'd wish for, I know just how to get infinite wishes so I'd have the power to stop  all war, solve world hunger, and other things.

Friend: (laughs) really all that with one wish (laughs harder) well it dosent really matter its not possible.

Main: (sighs) I guess your right, well see ya I got to go.

Friend: Bye.

Scene 2

(Inside Justen's house)

Goes online and starts watching Supernatural (just show their title screen). Sees the summoning of a demon. (we can no longer see the computer  screen)

Main: I didn't know demons could grant wishes. O it cost your soul, well if it would work for. me that wouldn't matter. Maybe I should try it just for the fun of it.

Scene 3

(At an intersection)

we see him burying something and he starts talking in another language (just make up words no one is suppose to understand it)

Someone appears out of thin air.

Main: Wow are you a demon?

Demon: If you promise me your soul I will grant you any one wish.

Main: I wish I could go in and out of movies at will.

Demon: Then give me your hand and in exchange for your soul I shal grant this wish.

Takes the demons hand the second he lets go the demon disappears.

Scene 4

(Inside Justen's house) 

Main: Now lets find out if this worked.

Show a movie with a magic lamp in it tittle screen. the main touches the screen and disappears. A moment later they reappear (exhausted)

Main: It worked! but, maybe next time I should pick one that's both easier to get the lamp form and is safer.

Scene 5

(On multible computer screens)

(Main is standing inside one of IUSB's room's with a stage)

Main: Lady's and Gentlemen of the world. I am your new lord and ruler. If you look around you  should see a new kind of tree  growing out of the ground. These trees will never die or run out of fruit. These fruits will give you at lest a reasonable amount of calories and water this way you wont die form either hunger or dehydration.  I should also worn you that you shouldn't attack anyone anymore for if you do the second you hurt them you will be taken form this world to one where you will be all alone without even your own voice to comfort you and after a set amount of time depending on your intentions when you attacked you will be released. I should also worn you that with each sentence the length of time will be longer. And that any rebellions will be dealt with harshly. Have a good day.

Scene 6

(in front of a window at IUSB)

(Main is standing there looking out the window and we hear gun fire and multiple explosions in the background)

Main: Why did some of them have to rebel I warned them what would happen. Looks like I have no choice but to make an example of them and send them to the void. (the gunfire and explosions  slow down then stop)

Main: I think it would be best to address my people and tell them what has happened.

Scene 7

We see computers coming on and an empty room  then an empty street and no one around outside.

Main: (with his eyes closed) Ladies and Gentlemen of the world I am sorry to inform you there was a rebellion. don't worry I have put it down and I am happy to report that there is now world piece. ( He opens his eyes then looks around) Wait a second where is everyone?

The demon appears before him.

Main: Did you do this? Where did you take everyone tell me now demon.

Demon: (Laughs) I did nothing.

Main: don't lie where are all the people of the world.

Demon: (Smiles) you should know that better then anyone what did you do with the rebels?

Main: what do you mean I did what I do to all criminals i sent them away form the public.

Main: you don't mean. No everyone in the world wouldn't have been in that army. they all couldn't have rebelled.

Demon: that's exactly what I mean. You said anyone that rebelled not anyone in there rebelling army. (laughs)

Main: (sadly says) What have I done.

Demon: I'll tell you you've become a great demon.

Screen fades to black

Grandma: That seat teasing you again?

Me: Yea it wont turn off.

Grandma: hahaha it has a mind of its own.

Me: Don't encourage it. (looks at the seat warmer button and points) I'm watching you.

Grandma: Maybe it traveled from the lights.

Me: Hey! (hits the seat warmer button) What happened?

Grandma: They wouldn't turn on for a while.

Me: When was this?

Grandma: About a month ago.

Me: Maybe... No this has been like this since you got the car. Maybe it travels watch the radio.

Grandma: Hahaha I just don't know about you. This is a good old car.

Me: Yea till it starts making terminators. Hahaha

 My step dad James was in the Navy and was a tattoo artiest till a few years ago. We could ask him about some of his days in the Navy and what Navy personal thought of tattoos and how being in it may have effected his designs.

My grandma is a nurse for people with Alzheimer. We could ask her what these people are like and what its like taking care of them.

My Grandpa was in the army and a war. We could ask him what it was like in the army back then.
